The main difference between the two is the length, the L version being twelve feet longer than the standard one and thus bringing a significant improvement in terms of cleaning radius. Thus, the CH230L model is forty-two feet long whereas the standard CH230 model is only thirty feet long.

The CH230L hose has the same construction as the CH230 hose with a nylon cord interlaced with a steel wire and a soft vinyl layer which wraps them together. This construction is very durable as well as flexible, so it limits the risk of kinks, which is very high in today’s hoses. Moreover, the design of this hose allows for its protection outside of its use too, the handle featuring a very convenient hose hanger. In fact, the handle has a number of highly convenient features which include a switch control that can be used through a single tip of the finger and a rotary control for the selection of different suction levels, depending on the cleaning demands.

The Nutone CH230L hose is genuinely a highly convenient part, being compatible with a wide range of other non-electric parts made by the same manufacturer.
