Bagless Power Units

Bagless Power Units

Three Bagless Central Vacuum Power UnitsAlthough these vacuums are not as hygienic as Bagged Central Vacuum Systems, bagless units don't require a disposable paper bag. Unlike bagged units, bagless central vacuums need to be vented outside. Dirt is drawn into the vacuum in a cyclonic motion which prevents it from immediately sticking to the filter. This process does not prolong the inevitable and eventually the filter will require cleaning or a replacement filter will need to be installed. Maintaining the filter is important as it protects the motor.

When the bagless central vacuum shuts off all dirt and debris will drop to the base of the canister. This is where everything sucked up by your vacuum is stored for later disposal. Dumping out the canister every 3 to 6 months prevents the excessive buildup of mold, bacteria, dust mites, fungi, and other harmful pollutants.
